SENIOR PARTS SPECIALIST
Utility Truck Equipment, Inc. specializes in the sale and service of aerial devices, digger derricks, cranes, telecom, and specialty equipment.
Our Parts Specialist will play a critical role in supporting our Service shop and Retail customers. This is accomplished by ordering and filling all parts requested, actively monitoring inventory levels and reordering when parts are low,
In this role you will...
- Manage service parts inventory
- Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Collaborating with service manager to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs
- Place orders regularly for parts needed in service and retail.
- Receiving parts, including placing them into inventory and properly labeling them
- Perform weekly audits of the consumable stock levels and order as necessary to maintain availability for service team
- Place unused parts back into inventory
- Check all received parts to ensure parts ordered are correct.
- Maintaining a high standard of professionalism and quality
- Basic Hydraulic, Basic Electrical, Large and Small chassis
- Basic knowledge of Electrical and JIC schematics
- Strong attention to detail, focus, and acuity
- Clear and consistent communication skills
- Experience with inventory management a plus
- High School Diploma required
- Physical effort is required, lifting up to 75 pounds, including service-related tools
- A minimum of 5 years of Parts Experience
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Basic computer knowledge
- Proficient in Excel,
