Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at LoopRL in Irving, TX. Our inventory operations are currently manual in nature, and the ideal candidate must be highly comfortable performing physical, hands-on inventory work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is vital to ensuring accuracy and efficiency across our operations, and the right person will play an active part in helping us evolve from manual processes toward a more system-driven inventory operation over time—contributing directly to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Physically monitor and manage inventory levels through hands-on stock checks, manual counts, and direct handling of mobile devices, components, and accessories.
- Conduct regular manual audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and integrity; investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Manually track and log inventory movements across departments, maintaining accurate records, paper trails, and physical documentation at all times.
- Oversee receiving of inbound inventory; verify quantities and condition through hands-on inspection and manual verification processes.
- Utilize inventory management systems to record and track inventory data, ensuring system records reflect physical reality at all times.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities to collaborate with other departments for process improvement.
- Prepare reports on inventory status, accuracy, and key metrics; present findings to management.
- Assist in developing strategies to transition manual inventory processes toward system-driven processes over time.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field—with demonstrated comfort in hands-on, manual environments.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high accuracy during repetitive physical tasks such as counting, logging, and stock verification.
- Ability to analyze inventory data and interpret findings to support informed decision-making.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking software; experience with systems such as SkuVault is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) for manual data tracking and reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong communication skills for cross-department collaboration.
