About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and bilingual Legal Assistant to support our Legal Case Manager. This is a high-volume, detail-intensive position at the center of our day-to-day operations. You will be a critical point of contact for clients, courts, and legal staff: handling communications, coordinating calendars, managing case files, translating documents, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients in both English and Spanish
- Manage and maintain case manager calendar, including court deadlines, hearings, and client appointments
- Liaise with immigration courts, USCIS, and government agencies, including phone calls, written correspondence, and filings
- Translate and proofread documents, client communications, and legal materials between English and Spanish.
- Assist with preparation of immigration petitions, declarations, and supporting documents under attorney supervision
- Draft and send client-facing correspondence in both English and Spanish
- Handle general administrative tasks
Requirements
- Bilingual — English and Spanish (professional fluency required in both)
- 1–2+ years of experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role; immigration law strongly preferred
- Strong written communication skills in both English and Spanish, including legal correspondence
- Proficient with case management software (Clio a strong plus), Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
