Key Responsibilities:
Loads specified furnace that re-melts nonferrous alloyed metals used in die casting process: shovels specified proportions of scrap metal and ingots into furnace.
Mix fluxing compound on molten metal to bring impurities to surface.
Skims slag from surface of molten metal, using hand strainer.
Transfer molten metal from furnace to bull ladle to die casting holding furnace.
Clean furnaces and equipment.
Overtime as required.
Other duties assigned by supervisor or lead.

Must be able to pass powered lift equipment testing.
