Job Summary
Premier Showcase is seeking a dependable, hardworking Installation Helper / Construction Laborer to support our installation team on high-end residential and commercial projects. This position is responsible for maintaining clean and organized job sites, assisting with material deliveries, protecting finished areas, performing demolition and site preparation, and helping installers complete projects safely and efficiently.
Candidates should have basic construction experience and must provide their own standard hand tools and basic carpentry tools necessary to perform daily job site tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in a well-maintained job site, and wants to grow within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout each phase of construction.
- Assist with the delivery, loading, unloading, and staging of cabinetry, millwork, and construction materials.
- Install and maintain permit boards and required job site signage.
- Protect finished floors, walls, countertops, cabinetry, and other surfaces using floor protection, plastic, cardboard, and other protective materials.
- Perform demolition work and prepare job sites for installation.
- Grind concrete floors and prepare surfaces for flooring, cabinetry, and finish installations.
- Dig holes and perform general site preparation as needed.
- Complete punch list items, touch-ups, and miscellaneous job site tasks.
- Assist cabinet installers with lifting, positioning, assembling, and installing cabinetry, millwork, and trim.
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools while following company safety standards.
- Remove debris and dispose of construction waste while maintaining a professional appearance on-site.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, lead installers, subcontractors, and homeowners when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful completion of projects.
Qualifications
- Previous construction, remodeling, or general labor experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry and construction practices.
- Experience with demolition, site cleanup, floor protection, material handling, and job site organization is a plus.
- Must own and be proficient with basic hand tools and carpentry tools, including but not limited to:
- Tape measure
- Utility knife
- Hammer
- Pry bar
- Drill and impact driver
- Speed square
- Levels
- Basic screwdrivers, pliers, and other standard construction hand tools
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in Florida weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation preferred.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
