Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the body shop, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Supervise and motivate technicians, painters, and support staff to maintain high performance levels
- Oversee vehicle repair processes including auto body repair, auto painting, auto glass replacement, and auto restoration projects
- Coordinate with insurance companies and customers to facilitate smooth communication and service delivery
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed rigorously to maintain a safe working environment
- Monitor inventory of hand tools, power tools, auto parts, and materials needed for repairs
- Conduct quality control inspections to guarantee repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in collision industry
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance, auto body repair techniques, auto painting, and auto restoration
- Familiarity with vehicle detailing procedures and auto repair safety protocols
- Experience in repair management software
- Experience handling DRP accounts
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team of technicians
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, insurance adjusters, and team members
