Overview

Duties
- Assist senior installers with measuring, cutting, and fabricating granite slabs according to blueprint specifications and technical drawings.
- Use hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and caulking guns to cut, shape, and install countertops accurately.
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to follow detailed installation instructions precisely.
- Help with the installation of fixtures, trim carpentry, cabinetry, and other building materials associated with countertop projects.
- Conduct quality inspections during installation to ensure adherence to design standards and client expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly handling materials and disposing of waste responsibly.
Experience
- Prior construction site experience or hands-on work with building materials is highly preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and dimensional measurements is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of construction management principles, estimating processes, or inspection procedures is a plus.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding or heavy equipment operation is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Customer service mindset with effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients alike.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to tile masonry experience, glass installation, flooring installation, or other related trades enhances your growth potential.
