Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Chef/Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of innovative menus that highlight high-quality ingredients and culinary trends, ensuring alignment with the restaurant’s concept and standards
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to maintain consistency and excellence
- Manage inventory control and food safety compliance, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Oversee staff scheduling, shift management, and training programs to cultivate a motivated and skilled culinary team
- Ensure adherence to all food safety regulations and sanitation standards across the kitchen and dining areas
- Coordinate with the catering and banquet departments to deliver seamless event execution with exceptional food service
- Monitor financial performance related to food costs, labor costs, and overall profitability while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments and restaurant management
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting with strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of banquet operations, catering, and large-scale food production processes
- Familiarity with dietary department requirements and dietary restrictions handling
- Strong skills in menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and kitchen management systems
- Excellent understanding of food safety protocols, HACCP standards, and food handling procedures
- Ability to lead a diverse team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant industries with a focus on service excellence
- Competence in managing shift schedules, controlling inventory, and overseeing food service operations
- Passion for culinary innovation combined with strong organizational skills
