Position: Warehouse Lead
Wage: $21.50 - $22.00/hr.
Shift:
1st Shift; Monday – Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm; overtime as needed on Saturday’s
Warehouse Lead Responsibilities:
- Completes and documents pre-shift inspections; reports maintenance needs promptly
- Loads and unloads trailers, containers, and other vehicles safely and efficiently
- Verifies the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists and system records
- Picks, packs, and palletizes orders in compliance with partner, customs, and international shipping requirements
- Lifts, packages, and ships litter in 20 lb, 40 lb, and 60 lb formats
- Uses RF scanners and company systems to accurately process and track orders
- Generates and applies shipping labels, BOLs (Bills of Lading), and required documentation
- Prepares international shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.) in compliance with regulations
- Weighs, dims, and verifies case packs, master packs, and pallets for accuracy and carrier compliance
- Stages outbound shipments in designated lanes based on carrier, route, and priority
- Schedules or coordinates pickups with carriers as directed
- Communicates with drivers at check-in/check-out to ensure correct loads and documentation
- Performs final load checks to ensure proper product, quantity, and securement
- Ensures proper pallet configuration, wrapping, banding, and labeling for safe transit
Warehouse Lead Requirements:
- Must have previous lead experience with a team of at least 3
- Prior forklift experience required
- Strong attendance and reliability are key expectations for this position
