- Strong leadership skills required.
- Observation by strong floor presence with team members and team leaders.
- Identify issues solving all problems and communicating with customers to avoid major line issues.
- Address issues pertaining to performance.
- Help guide the operation by organizing prioritizing tasks for staff.
- Schedule key steps in the production process.
- Responsible for ordering parts for the daily assembly plan, inventory audits, ordering low stock parts, ordering parts from outside vendors.
- Participate in scheduling and planning of special departmental tasks, transitions, and new product launches.
- Administer equipment testing & update Team Members assessment result as well as recertification.
- Coordinate individual departmental training (must understand all departments’ processes to train).
- Coordinate & review quality-related incidents with Quality Department to inform all departments involved.
- Must be able to work 8-to-10hour shifts daily and with short or no notice for mandatory overtime at times and on weekends.
- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
- Must be opened to other duties assigned by management and be able to move to other areas as needed.
- Provide assist with Right Part, Right Place, and Right Time.
- Provide leadership and support of company KPI's and metrics, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Eliminate no stock, downtime, accidents, damage to parts company property, and equipment.
- Experience and knowledge of (SAP, GCS Console, PDA, JIT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail).
- Coordination of new product launches and projects.
- Managing weekend schedules, staffing, and reports.
- Communicate with HMMA PC regarding abnormal request, for example scheduling, manpower, and special projects.
- Eliminate downtime, no stocks, line calls, lost inventory, improve safety policies & methods, accident prevention, reduce damage parts occurrences, and reduce the company costs.
