The Company: San Diego Post-Acute is a short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in El Cajon, CA. We are dedicated to providing personalized rehabilitation and nursing services to all who enter our doors. Salary: $21-$23 per hour pending experience
Shift Times: Full-time/ Part-time shifts available for AM (7am - 3pm) and PM (3pm - 11pm) shifts with 4/2's (4 days on 2 days off) rotating schedule
Job Description: We are currently seeking behavioral health Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. Experience with behavioral health/ psychiatric setting in long term care or post- acute care is recommended; caring for residents with behavioral health diagnosis but not limited to dementia with behaviors schizophrenia.
As a behavioral health CNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to our residents under the supervision of licensed nurses. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring resident health status, and promoting a safe and comfortable environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
