Alpine Adult CRU is looking for nurses with good leadership skills with experience. Mental health experience is a plus as well as some experience with brief psychotherapy. Basic knowledge of psychopharmacology is also beneficial but additional skills can be taught. This position has flexibility as well. It is an ideal setting for nurses who want to spend more time with direct patient care without pressure as our capacity is 6 bed total. Nurses have the opportunity to do groups to teach general medical information and an important role in recovery of those we serve. Nurses make a major impact during this short term stay.

Our facility offers treatment and twenty-four-hour support for adults who are having a serious psychiatric crisis but do not require hospitalization. We provide client-driven, recovery-oriented treatment in a comfortable home environment. We work with clients to develop and achieve individualized goals in order to resolve the crisis and to get them back into the community as soon as possible in hopes to prevent or reduce psychiatric hospitalization

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensure facility is maintaining state regulation
- Demonstrate the company mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with the internal and external stakeholders
- Conducts psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, group and individual clinical service, case coordination, and documentation
- Independently completes clinical assessments
- Documents all treatment provided in a thorough and consistent manner
- Demonstrates knowledge of de-escalation techniques, crisis communication, and management
SKILLS
- Managerial skills

- Ability to complete social histories, risk assessments, mental health status exams and plans of care
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses and community health facilities
- Ability to form a therapeutic alliance with persons served and families
