Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Glue Line Lead Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the glue application process on samples to include but not limited to fabric, swatch cards, and leather. This role ensures that all products meet stringent quality standards and safety protocols. Your leadership will help maintain smooth operations, optimize performance, and uphold our commitment to excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team of 5 individuals and contribute to a high-performance manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the setup, adjustment, and break down of equipment to maintain optimal production flow.
- Ensure work is prepared and ready for production each day.
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to safety protocols and promoting a safe work environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with manufacturing management to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity through continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience leading a small team while promoting a good work environment with strong communication skills to acheive effective teamwork and collaboration.
- Strong attention to detail
- Skilled in basic math for creation of production tickets
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining strong quality standards.
- Previous experience in manufacturing/production environments encouraged but not required.
