Dr. Phillips Medical Spa is seeking an experienced, professional, and reliable Licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing team. We are looking for a therapist who is confident performing Deep Tissue Massage and can provide exceptional care while maintaining a positive, relaxing experience for every client.
Our schedule is typically fully booked, with therapists performing 3–7 massages per day. Services include 50-minute and 80-minute sessions, as well as single and couples massages. We are looking for someone who is available to work consistent, set days each week and who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage services including:
- Deep Tissue Massage (required)
- Swedish Massage
- Therapeutic Massage
- Trigger Point Therapy
- Prenatal Massage (preferred but not required)
- Customize each treatment based on the client's needs and goals.
- Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming, relaxing experience.
- Maintain excellent time management to ensure appointments begin and end on schedule.
- Prepare treatment rooms before each appointment and thoroughly clean and sanitize after every client.
- Keep treatment rooms stocked, organized, and presentable throughout the day.
- Communicate professionally with front desk staff and providers regarding client needs or schedule changes.
- Maintain accurate treatment notes when required.
- Uphold all sanitation, safety, and state licensing requirements.
- Represent the spa with professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Active Florida Massage Therapy License.
- Strong proficiency in Deep Tissue Massage (required).
- Experience performing therapeutic massage in a spa or medical spa environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage a busy schedule while maintaining high-quality treatments.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and professionalism.
- Punctual with excellent time management.
Schedule
- Medical Spa Hours: Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Set weekly schedule required.
- Full or part-time opportunities available depending on availability.
- Schedule is typically fully booked.
