Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized plumbing equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects
- Conduct pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks on various piping configurations in accordance with industry standards
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to plumbing, HVAC components, and related systems
- Assist with remodeling projects by applying carpentry skills and handyman experience to modify or upgrade existing plumbing infrastructure
- Lift heavy materials safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques; operate construction site machinery as needed
- Follow schematics and technical instructions precisely to ensure quality work on construction sites or renovation projects
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields such as HVAC or remodeling projects
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of plumbing systems and construction site procedures
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks
- Valid commercial driver’s license preferred for transporting materials or equipment to job sites
- Prior experience with schematics reading, remodeling projects, or handyman work is a plus
