Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Homemaker to provide essential support and assistance to clients by maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. This role involves performing a variety of household tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and creating a positive, welcoming atmosphere for those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of living spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and organizing to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Use ladders safely to reach high areas during cleaning or maintenance tasks.
- Handle manual tasks such as moving furniture or heavy items with proper lifting techniques and safety precautions.
- Conduct outdoor work such as yard maintenance, trash removal, and outdoor cleaning to ensure the exterior of the home remains tidy and safe.
- Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and techniques for specialized cleaning needs when necessary.
- Maintain safety by using fire extinguishers correctly and following safety protocols during all activities.
- Assist with light household chores that promote a healthy living environment, including laundry and organizing supplies.
Skills
- Proficiency in ladder use for reaching high places safely.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques for both residential and commercial spaces.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks efficiently and safely.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and methods.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
- Knowledge of floor buffing and other floor maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with outdoor work environments and safety practices.
- Ability to operate fire extinguishers confidently in emergency situations.
