The Human Resources Coordinator – Employee Engagement & Onboarding is responsible for enhancing the new hire experience by serving as a primary liaison for candidates during the pre-boarding process. This position hosts virtual onboarding sessions, develops engaging onboarding materials, supports employee engagement initiatives, assists with employee recognition programs, and analyzes workforce data to improve onboarding, retention, and employee satisfaction.
This role requires initiative, creativity, strong organizational skills, independent judgment, and excellent communication while working closely with Human Resources leadership on programs that positively impact employees across the organization.

Lead engaging WebEx pre-boarding sessions to prepare new employees for a successful start at University Health.

Design professional presentations, onboarding guides, handouts, and communication materials.

Gather feedback from new employees to continuously improve the onboarding experience.

Prepare Employee of the Quarter and Employee of the Year recognition presentations, biographies, and supporting materials for executive leadership and the Board of Managers.

Analyze onboarding, turnover, retention, employee recognition, and engagement data to identify trends and recommend improvements.

Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate workforce metrics to Human Resources leadership.

Coordinate employee engagement surveys and present findings with actionable recommendations.

Support administration and reporting for Scholarship, Student Loan Repayment, Retention Incentive, and Employee Referral programs.

Validate data through system queries and prepare bi-weekly reports for Payroll and Human Resources leadership.

Assist with planning and coordinating employee appreciation events, including the Employee Recognition Banquet, Hospital Week, Holiday Appreciation events, Employee Giving initiatives, and other employee engagement activities.

Perform additional Human Resources projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.

Two (2) or more years of Human Resources experience or demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources functions and operations is required.

Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and professional accountability.

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office applications is required.

Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
