Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Perform complex repairs on powertrain components including transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive suspension systems.
- Repair and replace critical mechanical systems such as brakes, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques for precise repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Execute routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and auto estimating software to determine repair procedures efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Skills
- Extensive dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair industry standards.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Deep knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto body repair, and auto estimating processes.
- Skilled in repairing diesel engines, transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, and auto electrical systems.
- Familiarity with Schematics for complex system troubleshooting; experience working with diesel vehicles is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by expertise in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with a commitment to vehicle maintenance excellence and safety compliance.
