Aircraft Manufacturer seeking full time position for an experienced Quality Inspector.
Seeking candidates with minimum 5 years experience as a quality inspector in the aerospace industry. AS9100 Audit experience is required.
Responsible for assuring that all products are defect free and are complainant with technical specifications for our customers. Must have the ability to demonstrate the required essential functions: Complete in process inspections on items being manufactured in a prompt manner so as not to delay manufacturing. Complete final inspections on all items. A proper and complete inspection report includes a "bubbled drawing", and completed AS9102 form for each detail and assembly.
Ensure all material certifications meet drawing and specification requirements. Ability to read and use calibrated measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, scales, etc.) Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining consistency and accuracy. Attention to detail a must. Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred skills include: Ability to operate Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) using PolyWorks or a similar measurement program. Ability to interpret loft data and stable based drawings (Mylar).
Must have good communication skills (written, verbal and technical writing).
Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 7am-6pm, closed Fridays.
