Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, motivated Tasting Room & Retail Sales Associate for our weekend honey & mead tastings, + Saturday KCC Farmers’ Market booth!
For the full time position, one or two weekday honey and mead production assist position is available.
Our associates are ambassadors for Mānoa Honey & Mead and are responsible for creating a welcoming and positive environment for visitors at our Mead Garden and Honey House in Wahiawa.

Requirements:

- Able to lift 25-50 pounds
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Weekend availability required - Fridays, Saturdays
- Experience in retail sales or a similar hospitality setting preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone.
- Strong growth opportunity to Assistant Manager for the right candidate.
- Assist with set-up, host and service mead tastings for guests.
- Engage with guests in a concise, personal manner regarding honey & mead products, company history and general tourist information.
- Handle routine POS transactions which include operating the POS system, processing returns, discounts, employee purchases, & handling cash/change.
- Stay current and curious on general honey & mead knowledge.
- Keep tasting room and retail store clean and stocked with product.
- Manage KCC Farmers’ Market: Loading/unloading van with necessary products for the market, set up and break down of market booth & product displays alongside market assistant, provide friendly customer service & efficient sales transactions.
- Various honey production tasks may be assigned in the idle time.
- Other duties may be assigned depending on skill set
Job Types: Part-time or Full-time
Salary: From $16.50/hr - $20.00/hr

- 8-hr general shift (10:00am - 6:00pm)
- 1st & 3rd Saturdays only: KCC Farmers’ Market (5:30am - 1:30pm shift)
