The Job Description
This is a hands-on warehouse and operations role based in person at our partner factory facility in Bangor, Maine. The Warehouse Manager will work directly with the factory team on site while reporting to YRI’s headquarters team in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
The Warehouse Manager will manage daily warehouse activity, including receiving inbound shipments, organizing inventory, preparing materials for production, printing UPC stickers, picking and packing orders, creating shipping labels, invoicing orders, and supporting the overall order fulfillment process.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while coordinating both an on-site factory team and a remote headquarters team.
Responsibilities
System Management
- Print customer orders from the company system
- Create shipping labels and invoice orders accurately
- Maintain accurate order flow through the system
Receiving Incoming Shipments
- Receive inbound shipments at the Bangor facility
- Check shipments in accurately and put away inventory in the correct locations
- Notify the headquarters team when shipments are received
- Keep receiving areas organized, clean, and efficient
Inventory Management
- Organize inventory so products are easy to locate, count, and access
- Maintain accurate stock counts
- Help identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Ensure inventory is properly labeled, stored, and organized
- Communicate inventory needs, shortages, and issues to the headquarters team
Order Prep and Production Support
- Gather materials needed for the production line
- Hand off materials to the factory team accurately and on time
- Print and apply UPC stickers to products and customer orders
- Support miscellaneous production needs as they arise
Order Fulfillment
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders
- Pack orders according to customer requirements
- Prepare shipments for UPS, FedEx, LTL, or other shipping methods as needed
- Support palletizing, counting, labeling, and staging of outbound orders

The Job’s Qualifications & Requirements
Required
- Prior warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, inventory, or operations experience
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily warehouse tasks
- Basic computer skills and comfort working in order management, shipping, inventory, or ERP systems
- Ability to lift boxes and warehouse materials as required by the role
- Reliable transportation and ability to work in person at the Bangor, Maine facility
Preferred
- Experience with order fulfillment, pick/pack/ship operations, or warehouse systems
- Experience printing shipping labels, creating shipments, and invoicing orders
- Experience with UPC sticker printing and product labeling
- Process improvement mindset, including warehouse organization, SOPs, workflow improvement, or 5S-style organization
Details

- Start Date: ASAP
- Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Benefits: Full-time benefits including health care, PTO, and 401k
- Schedule: 4.5 days per week
- Location: In person at partner factory facility in Bangor, Maine
- Reporting: Reports to YRI headquarters team in Portsmouth, New Hampshire
- Work Environment: On-site warehouse and production-support role working directly with partner factory team
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift boxes and warehouse materials as required by the role
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
