POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the direction of the Vice President - Operations, the Warehouse Manager (Shipping & Receiving Lead) oversees all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials management. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory levels, timely order fulfillment, and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility while supporting Bowtech's commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse activities.
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead and develop warehouse personnel while promoting a safe and productive work environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records utilizing Dynamics D365 ERP and warehouse management processes.
- Coordinate material flow between receiving, inventory, production, and fulfillment departments.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through cycle counts and audits.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures related to inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Develop and maintain warehouse organization standards to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Customer Service, and Sales teams to support business objectives.
- Monitor shipping costs and carrier performance to optimize efficiency and service levels.
- Generate inventory, shipping, and receiving reports for management review.
- Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives throughout warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
CROSS-TRAINING AND BRAND SUPPORT
- Provide operational support across Bowtech accessory brands.
- Assist with inventory management and fulfillment activities across multiple product categories.
- Maintain familiarity with products and components across all supported brands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company-wide operational goals.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products industries.
- Experience utilizing Dynamics D365 ERP software.
- Passion for archery, hunting, and the outdoor lifestyle.
- Prior supervisory or warehouse leadership experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of five years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory management experience.
- Minimum of two years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong inventory control and materials management knowledge.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Dynamics D365 ERP systems.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional internal and external customer service.
- Passion for archery and/or bowhunting with working knowledge of archery products and equipment.
