Busy dog daycare in South Philadelphia seeking a fun and experienced Dog Handler to help us keep up with our high demand!
Candidate must be friendly, outgoing and people oriented with enthusiasm and pride in their work ethic. Must be a self motivated, team player that is eager to grow within our company.
This person will be in the room with the dogs supervising and playing with them. It’s a hands-on position that requires one to give our dogs a lot of love and attention, and for the right person this is a fun and fulfilling position. This is the jumping off point, and to hold any other position, one must be an excellent dog handler! The ideal candidate has a passion for dog care and their happiness.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Be very attentive to the dogs’ needs
- Be on time for their shifts
- Watch, clean up after and interact with the dogs
- Be extremely responsible – these are live animals that will be in your care – and report any unusual behavior or incidents immediately to supervisor
- Be flexible with schedule — availability on weekends and holidays is required
- Feel comfortable handling dogs of all sizes
- Feed dogs and administer medication according to instructions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
