This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, implementing curriculum, and providing a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere for preschool-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy education, math skills, and physical education.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.
- Utilize effective behavior management strategies to maintain classroom order and support children's social-emotional development.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns.
- Assess and document children's developmental milestones and learning progress.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
- Foster a love for learning through engaging activities that stimulate curiosity and creativity.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting is required
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of curriculum development techniques tailored for early childhood education.
- Experience in teaching physical education or integrating physical activity into the daily routine is a plus.
- A passion for educating young minds and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
