Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our Christian school faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a Christian learning environment and will be responsible for preparing young children for kindergarten by fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities and learning experiences. This involves planning and implementing lessons, assessing student progress, and communicating with parents.
Additionally, this role requires effective lesson planning and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students in a classroom setting.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Educate students in various subjects, focusing on physical education, literacy education, and special education as needed.
- Conduct standardized testing and assess student progress regularly to ensure educational goals are met.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Provide care and supervision for toddlers or preschool-aged children when required.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience within the private school setting.
- Maintain classroom discipline while promoting respect and understanding among students.
Qualifications
· Minimum of bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or elementary education from an accredited college or university.
· Valid State of Wisconsin teaching license (or ability to obtain).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for educating young minds and nurturing their faith and development.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
