EFINEA Metals is a growing industrial metals distributor supporting customers across aerospace, electronics, precision manufacturing, and other high-performance industries. Our business is fast-paced, detail-driven, and built on long-term customer relationships.
We are looking for an Inside Sales Associate to join our sales team and help drive continued growth. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who wants to learn how to build and manage a book of business, not simply process orders.
In this position, you will support inbound quote requests, assist existing customers, follow up on opportunities, and help generate new leads through proactive outreach. Over time, you will develop the skills to identify customer needs, nurture accounts, grow repeat business, and contribute to territory and account development.

Duties
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries and Requests for Quote (RFQs) via phone and email, providing timely and accurate pricing and product information.
- Conduct outbound calls and emails to prospective and existing customers to generate new business, re-engage dormant accounts, and expand sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up, exceptional service, and a solutions-focused approach.
- Prepare and deliver competitive quotations by working closely with purchasing, operations, and supplier partners.
- Proactively follow up on open quotes, communicate pricing and terms, address customer questions, and convert opportunities into sales.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts by identifying opportunities for repeat business, cross-selling, and upselling.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and opportunity pipelines using the company's CRM and sales management systems.
- Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and management to ensure customer expectations for quality, pricing, and delivery are met.
- Support targeted sales and marketing initiatives to generate qualified leads and increase market presence.
- Continuously develop product knowledge and industry expertise to become a trusted resource for customers and contribute to long-term business growth.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer first approach.
- Experience in B2B sales, inside sales, customer service, account management, or business development is a plus, but a strong work ethic, coachability, and desire to build a sales career are valued just as highly.
- Experience using CRM software (Netsuite is a plus) and Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- A positive attitude, resilience, and the determination to turn challenges into opportunities.

Within your first 6–12 months, you'll be expected to:
- Confidently manage customer RFQs from initial inquiry through quotation and follow-up.
- Consistently convert quoting opportunities into sales through proactive communication and relationship building.
- Develop strong relationships with repeat customers and become a trusted resource for their material needs.
- Identify higher-value opportunities within existing accounts while helping generate new business.
- Build the foundation and take increasing ownership of customer accounts.
- Become a knowledgeable advisor on EFINEA Metals' products, services, and capabilities.
