About Rocli Learning Academy
Rocli Learning Academy is a small, specialized learning academy created for autistic and neurodivergent children who need a more individualized, supportive, and flexible learning environment.
We serve children who may not thrive in traditional school settings and need support with academics, communication, life skills, social development, independence, and emotional regulation.
We are currently hiring a Part-Time Lead Learning Guide to support students in a variety of learning settings, including our Roswell headquarters, individual learning sessions, online/remote guided learning, and our ABA Pod locations.
Position Overview
The Lead Learning Guide will work directly with neurodivergent students in small-group and individualized learning environments. This is not a traditional classroom teaching position. Our model is flexible, child-centered, and focused on helping each student grow from where they are.
This role may include supporting students:
- In a small classroom setting at our Roswell headquarters
- One-on-one or in small groups
- Through online/remote guided learning
- Inside our ABA Pod locations hosted within ABA therapy centers
- With academic readiness, life skills, social skills, and individualized learning goals
Our main headquarters is located in Roswell, GA. Our ABA Pods are hosted through partner ABA centers in areas such as Roswell, Alpharetta/Milton, Jonesboro, and additional locations as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities
The Lead Learning Guide will be responsible for:
- Leading small-group learning sessions for autistic and neurodivergent students
- Supporting individualized learning plans based on each student’s needs and abilities
- Providing instruction in basic academics, school readiness, functional learning, and life skills
- Helping students build independence, confidence, communication, and social skills
- Creating a calm, supportive, and structured learning environment
- Adapting lessons and activities for students who may be nonverbal, minimally verbal, delayed, or not on grade level
- Working alongside ABA therapists when students receive ABA support during the day
- Supporting students in ABA Pod settings when assigned
- Communicating student progress and needs with Rocli leadership
- Assisting with remote guided learning check-ins, lesson planning, or student review as needed
- Helping maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing environment
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is patient, flexible, nurturing, dependable, and experienced working with autistic or neurodivergent children.
We are looking for someone who understands that learning does not look the same for every child. Some students may be working on academics, while others may be working on communication, independence, regulation, or basic school readiness skills.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience working with autistic, neurodivergent, or special needs children
- Teaching, tutoring, homeschool, special education, ABA, RBT, paraprofessional, childcare, therapy support, or learning support experience
- Ability to work with children who may be nonverbal, minimally verbal, delayed, or require behavioral/regulation support
- Strong patience, flexibility, and communication skills
- Ability to lead small groups and also support students individually
- Comfortable working in different environments, including in-center, remote, and partner ABA locations
- Reliable transportation to Roswell and/or assigned pod locations
- Must be dependable, professional, and comfortable communicating with parents and team members
A teaching certificate is helpful but not required. Experience and the right personality fit are very important for this role.
Schedule
This is a part-time position. Hours may vary based on student enrollment, program needs, and assigned location.
Possible hours may include weekday mornings, early afternoons, and occasional remote guided learning support.
