RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide luxurious, all-inclusive grooming services tailored to breed standards, coat condition, pet comfort and owner preferences
- Prioritize quality, safety and the individual needs of each pet over volume
- Use gentle, compassionate handling techniques and adjust the grooming process according to each pet’s behavior and comfort
- Complete thorough pre-groom assessments and promptly communicate health, skin, coat or behavioral concerns
- Maintain accurate service notes, photos and client records in MoeGo
- Follow established safety, sanitation and infection-control procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming mobile grooming environment throughout the day
- Properly clean, disinfect and care for grooming tools and equipment
- Manage appointment time responsibly while maintaining artepupp’s quality standards
- Communicate professionally with pet parents and the concierge team
- Safely operate and care for the mobile grooming vehicle, reporting any maintenance or equipment concerns promptly
- Represent artepupp pet grooming co. with warmth, professionalism and exceptional care
- Just groom! Management handles scheduling, client relations, laundry, maintenance and winterization
REQUIREMENTS
- At least two years of professional dog-grooming experience
- Strong technical grooming skills, including breed-standard and customized pet trims
- A gentle, patient approach and commitment to safe, compassionate handling
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and maintain artepupp’s quality standards
- Excellent communication skills and professional judgment when discussing a pet’s coat, behavior or health concerns
- Dependable, organized and attentive to detail
- Comfortable driving and working independently in a mobile grooming environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift and groom dogs weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, sanitary and welcoming grooming space
