Hands-On Driving Position – You Will Be Driving a Moving Truck Daily and Leading a Crew
Davis Moving & Cleaning LLC is hiring a Lead Driver / Operations Supervisor for a new commercial moving contract in Dallas, TX.
This is a working leadership role, not a desk position. The selected candidate will be the main truck driver and team lead, responsible for driving commercial moving trucks daily, leading crews on-site, and ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
We are looking for someone dependable, organized, and experienced in moving, logistics, transportation, delivery, or crew leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Primary driver for 16ft–26ft moving trucks (daily driving required)
- Lead and supervise moving crews during commercial moves
- Coordinate loading/unloading and job execution
- Ensure crews follow safety procedures and company standards
- Assist with lifting, moving, wrapping, and handling furniture/equipment
- Communicate job updates and issues to management
- Help train and coach crew members
- Maintain professionalism with commercial and government clients
Requirements:
- MUST be comfortable driving 16ft–26ft box trucks daily
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background screening
- 5+ years of moving, logistics, transportation, delivery, or crew lead experience required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable with physical work and lifting
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required
Preferred Experience:
- Commercial moving experience
- Crew lead or supervisor experience
- Experience leading teams on job sites
- DOT / non-CDL box truck driving experience
Schedule:
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday (hours vary based on project needs)
- Overtime opportunities available
Pay:
$24–$28/hour Depending on Experience.
