Position Summary:
As the Manager, Product Lifecycle for Energizer’s Global Autocare business, you will be responsible for leading the New Product Development (Advanced Manufacturing) initiatives, supporting capital project execution, performing comprehensive cost engineering activities, and ensuring business case variance is actioned. This position provides technical expertise, develops cost estimates, supports budgeting, and ensures strong project governance while collaborating across departments to enhance plant performance and profitability. The role serves as a critical liaison between Operations (the customer) and R&D/marketing to ensure design for manufacturability. Success in this role requires influencing and convincing across functions, and an ability to guide strategic decisions that improve manufacturing costs while meeting the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership by setting clear technical directions, ensuring strong project planning, and upholding Energizer’s standards for safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
Influence and guide cross-functional teams—including engineering, R&D, marketing, operations, maintenance, and corporate partners—to ensure alignment on project objectives and plant priorities.
Lead technical studies, engineering evaluations, testing, and quality assurance activities to verify performance and drive process reliability.
Coordinate capital and plant project activities from planning through execution, including reviewing proposals, defining objectives, developing schedules, and managing contractor engagement.
Monitor project budgets, evaluate variances, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions and mitigation strategies.
Communicate engineering, cost, and project impacts effectively across all internal teams, ensuring clarity and shared understanding.

Total Rewards Package: The salary range for this position is USD $110,000.00/Yr. - USD $139,000.00/Yr.
Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
