Medical Call Center / Patient Care Coordinator

We are a growing, patient-focused concierge primary care office seeking an energetic, professional, and highly organized Medical Call Center / Patient Care Coordinator to become an essential part of our team. This is a fast-paced position that serves as the first point of contact for our patients and plays a critical role in delivering the exceptional service our practice is known for.

What You'll Do
- Answer and manage a high volume of incoming patient calls with professionalism and compassion
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
- Route patient messages accurately and efficiently to the appropriate clinical staff
- Process patient requests including:
- Prescription refill requests
- Lab and imaging orders
- Test results inquiries
- Referral requests
- Clinical questions and follow-up messages
- Receive, review, and electronically attach incoming faxes to patient charts
- Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system
- Communicate effectively with providers, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff
- Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
What We're Looking For
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment
- Experience in a medical office, call center, or healthcare setting preferred
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems preferred
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
