Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a compassionate individual who can effectively support both patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring smooth operations within our facility. Hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patient responses.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare patients for X-Ray and other diagnostic tests as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health systems.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Support emergency medicine protocols in a Level I Trauma Center setting.
- Collaborate with internal medicine teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in the management of patient flow within the hospital environment.
Skills
- Familiarity with X-Ray procedures and medication administration techniques.
- Strong understanding of internal medicine principles.
- Excellent ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
- Proficient in using hospital systems for patient management and record keeping.
- Exceptional communication skills to provide outstanding patient service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
