Subsidiary: New Millennium Overview:
Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as furnace, cranes, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Direct maintenance employees on day-to-day operations, including work schedule

Work with production in the event of unscheduled down time

Assists supervisor with monitoring employee training for accuracy

Inspects mechanical devices in operation and trouble shoots issues as needed

Welding using oxyacetylene torch, arch welder, and mig welder

Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, and re-assembles when complete
-
Examines forms and texture of parts to detect imperfections
-
Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements

Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments

Repairs or replaces defective parts

Installs special functional and structural parts in devices

Responsible that all emission control systems are working properly, and that all federal, state, and local documentation are being followed

Lubricates and cleans parts
-
Starts devices to test their performance
-
Works aloft utilizing aerial man lifts

Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metal working tools to make and repair parts

Operates and PM's mobile equipment

Repairs electrical equipment

Responsible for ensuring proper safety guidelines are follow with respect to PPE, and other safety policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or 1-2 manufacturing maintenance experience

Strong verbal skill to communicate with internal and external customers

Strong writing skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Advanced problem-solving skills

Advanced mathematical skills

Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once

Knowledge in multiple facets of maintenance (IE, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, fabrication, etc.)
