We are looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join our growing People Services team in St. Petersburg, FL, Conroe, TX, or other company office location. This role will work closely with our Recruiting Manager and hiring managers across the company to help keep our recruiting process organized, responsive, and moving forward.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their recruiting or HR career who wants hands-on experience supporting hiring across multiple locations and types of positions in a rapidly growing organization.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate day-to-day recruiting activities across multiple locations and departments.
- Post and maintain job openings across our applicant tracking system and recruiting platforms.
- Review incoming applications and conduct initial candidate screening for assigned positions.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process and provide a positive, responsive candidate experience.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Assist with high-volume recruiting for field and operational positions.
- Support recruiting for administrative, professional, and other positions as assigned.
- Prepare and coordinate offer letters and pre-employment requirements.
- Initiate and track background checks, motor vehicle records, drug screenings, and other required pre-employment steps.
- Monitor candidates through the pre-employment process and follow up on outstanding requirements.
- Partner with People Services to ensure a smooth handoff from recruiting to onboarding.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
- Help track recruiting metrics, open positions, candidate pipelines, hiring activity, and time-to-fill.
- Maintain regular communication with hiring managers regarding candidate status and next steps.
- Participate in career fairs, recruiting events, community partnerships, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
- Assist with recruiting projects and process improvements as the company continues to grow.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of recruiting, Human Resources, staffing, customer service, administrative, or similar professional experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions, candidates, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Comfortable communicating with candidates by phone, email, text, and video.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing organization where priorities can change quickly.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, or recruiting technology is a plus.
- Experience recruiting for transportation, field services, skilled trades, construction, logistics, or similar industries is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
