About the Role
Are you looking for a role where your technical skills directly impact real-world production? As our new Cassette Calibration Specialist, you'll be stepping right into the heart of the action on our Pharmacy Automation team!
In this role, you aren’t just sitting behind a screen or doing repetitive line work—you are the engine driving our Custom Cassette Center (CCC). You’ll own the entire lifecycle of our cassette orders, using our proprietary software to track incoming requests, optimize build queues, and make sure everything flows smoothly from a digital order to a physical product.
This is the ultimate hands-on position where digital prep meets physical execution. You’ll be right there on the production floor, bringing designs to life as you build, calibrate, and quality-test custom cassettes. If you love the thrill of hitting daily goals, seeing the tangible results of your hard work, and balancing tech savvy (MS Office, tracking systems, and 3D design software) with high-energy assembly execution, you're going to fit right in.
What You'll Do
Order Management & Production Workflow
- End-to-end order tracking: manage, process, and track high-volume cassette orders in proprietary software systems with strict attention to detail and data integrity.
- Administrative proficiency: maintain expert-level command of MS Office (Excel, Word) to log order statuses, generate production reports, and track inventory metrics.
- Production line assembly: actively participate in building, configuring, and shipping custom pharmacy automation cassettes according to exact technical specifications.
- Quality assurance & testing: inspect and calibrate physical cassettes post-assembly to guarantee seamless integration and zero-defect functionality within automated systems.
- Digital documentation: write, track, and continually update technical design specifications, assembly workflows, program documentation, and software guidelines for internal and external reference.

How You'll Be Measured
- Cassette order accuracy and on-time delivery rate
- First-pass quality / defect rate of assembled cassettes
- Cycle time from order intake to shipment
- Quality and currency of technical documentation owned

What We're Looking For
Required
- Proven experience supporting and using custom software interfaces for order entry, tracking, and inventory management.
- Direct experience working on a production or manufacturing line — manual assembly and mechanical building of technical components.
- Familiarity with digital 3D printing workflows.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Strong working knowledge of computers and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Self-starter able to drive projects independently.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willing and able to work overtime, and comfortable in a professional / medical office–type environment.
Preferred
- Experience with Pharmacy Automation software and hardware.
- Demonstrated early-career or strong hobbyist / maker portfolio showcasing physical parts designed in CAD and successfully produced and assembled.
- Background in Field Service, PC / Networking, or Electrical / Electronics.
- Experience writing technical documentation, SOPs, or assembly workflows.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Education & Experience
- Minimum of a High School diploma.
- At least three years of experience in a pharmacy setting, manufacturing line, or comparable technical / production environment.
- Portfolio or examples of CAD-designed parts that have been physically produced is a strong plus.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here
- You enjoy moving between a computer screen and a workbench in the same day.
- You see a broken or undersized part as a problem to solve, not a blocker.
- You take ownership of quality — if a cassette ships from your bench, it works.
- You document as you go so the next person doesn't have to reinvent your work.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and forming your own hypotheses in a small, fast-moving team.
