Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of restrooms, hallways, common areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct routine floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to keep surfaces pristine.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and furniture to uphold a professional environment.
- Restock supplies including paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash liners to ensure continuous availability.
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning of large areas or specialized equipment.
- Assist with custodial duties related to facilities maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or residential cleaning techniques.
- Willing to learn on performing floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, and other tasks.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery including buffers and floor polishers safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prioritize daily tasks efficiently.
- Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
