Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Front End Loader Operator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will operate front-end wheel bucket loaders to perform a variety of loading trucks, moving material, and piling salt up. Your expertise will ensure efficient site operations, safety compliance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy machinery in a fast-paced environment. Pay is based off of your experience.
Duties
- Operate front-end wheel bucket loaders with precision to move, load, and unload materials such as salt.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on loaders and related equipment to ensure optimal safety and performance.
- Assist with any laboring(cutting tarp, painting, degreasing/greasing, ect)
- Follow all federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members.
- Coordinate with site supervisors to discuss daily task, and site cleanup tasks efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance logs in compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating front-end wheel bucket loaders in a construction setting; familiarity with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance and related equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and operator's license.
- Understanding of federal construction safety regulations and adherence to all safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to operate additional machinery such as excavators, skid steer is a PLUS.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
