Job Skills/Educational Requirements:-
Associate’s degree in a related technical field or a higher-level qualification (preferred)

2+ years of experience as a chemical operator or handler in a manufacturing environment

In-depth understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, pressure systems, and computerized control systems
-
Excellent safety record and ability to meet the qualifications to be on Emergency Response Team
Competencies:-
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a strong commitment to safety practices

Proficiency with computers and software applications

Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, including reliability, discretion, and the ability to represent the company positively in all interactions

Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Physical Requirements:-
Must be clean shaven to ensure proper fit and seal of respirator equipment

Must not be afraid of heights and working in elevated locations on pipe bridges

Ability to sit, stand, and move for extended periods.

Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
-
Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Must be able to work scheduled and unscheduled shifts, including short-notice hours on off days, as needed to meet business requirements.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
Work Environment:-
Work is performed in a chemical plant and industrial setting with typical manufacturing conditions.

Work may involve exposure to loud machinery, temperature variations, and other industrial hazards.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including hard hat, hearing protection, eye protection, and steel-toe boots (at minimum).
