Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain impeccable floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and performing carpet cleaning as needed.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and uniforms.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health standards, paying special attention to high-touch areas.
- Assist with janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Support kitchen-related duties by assisting with basic cooking or food prep when required, ensuring safety and hygiene protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to manage housekeeping schedules effectively and address guest or resident requests promptly.
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience is highly preferred, especially within hotel or residential settings.
- Experience with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with floor care methods including carpet cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Background in laundry operations or housekeeper management roles adds value to your application.
- Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting positively with guests or residents.
