Position Overview:
We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Small Group Personal Trainer to lead dynamic, results-driven fitness sessions. About the Role:
- This is an hourly role.
- Current needs are Monday/Wednesday evening from 4:15 - 7pm. Friday evenings from 4:15 - 6pm.
- Saturday mornings from 7 - 11:30am on a rotating basis

Responsibilities:
- Lead small group training sessions with energy, enthusiasm, and expertise.
- Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions tailored to individual client needs and goals.
- Provide knowledge on anatomy, physiology, and nutrition to enhance clients' understanding of their health journey.
- Create and adapt workouts to suit a range of fitness levels and goals.
- Build strong relationships with clients to foster community and retention.
- Provide personalized coaching to ensure proper form, safety, and progress.
- Contribute to the growth of the studio by engaging clients and promoting programs.
- Maintain a clean and organized training area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
Requirements
- Certification in Personal Training from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM).
- Experience with sales, customer/client service, interpersonal/social skills
- High levels of energy
- Ability to coach clients and correct their technique
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and program design for effective training regimens.
- Experience in group fitness instruction and personal training is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate clients effectively.
- Ability to teach physical education concepts related to fitness and wellness.
- A passion for health and fitness with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Classes/Small Group PersonalTraining: $25/Hour to start.
- Raises based on hours worked, performance, and specialty projects
- Ongoing CPR/AED recertification. Hunt for Strength covers the cost of the 2-year CPR/AED certification.
- Continuing Education. Hunt for Strength will provide you with a $250 stipend to be used towards any certification/seminar/event of choice annually (subject to approval).
All candidates begin part-time. You’ll have opportunities to increase to full-time hours depending on your coachability, performance, and preference.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
- Step 1: Introductory Phone Call: 10min phone call where you’ll learn exactly what we’re looking for, we will learn what you are looking for, and we’ll both see if there’s mutual interest to work together.
- Step 2: In-Person Interview: Building off our phone conversation, you will sit down with the Owner and Head Coach to dive more into detail about what we are looking for and to see if you are a right fit.
- Step 3: Shadow for 2-Weeks: You’ll shadow 6 hours per week for two weeks so you can see what our training is like up close and personal. This will allow you to see what our sessions are like and to see if our training is something you can see yourself doing.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
