We're seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with light electrical and plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and cleaning duties with a hospitality mindset.
Scope of Services Summary:
The Maintenance Tech provides day to day maintenance services to all Sola Salon locations owned by Salon Freedom, LLC in the Central PA (Harrisburg and Lancaster areas) region. The Maintenance Technician should have a “hospitality mindset” and is responsible for completing the Scope of Services outlined below and ensuring tenant satisfaction on a daily basis at All Central PA locations. This is a full time position.
Scope of Services Detail:
Day to Day General Maintenance - changing filters, cleaning supply and return ducts, physical spot checks of locations during visits, service commercial washers/dryers, adjust HVAC dampers as needed, adjust thermostats as needed
Electrical - Install light fixtures, replace lamps/bulbs, troubleshoot and replace GFIs and outlets as necessary, handle installation of TV’s/directories, install additional outlets as needed, engage services of professional electrician if needed
Plumbing - Repair leaks as needed, maintain shampoo bowls, install shampoo bowls/swap bowls for sinks as needed, engage professional plumber if needed
Paint - Paint studios when requested, touch up paint in common areas as requested, proactively make suggestions for touch ups as needed, engage professional painter as necessary
Carpentry/Miscellaneous - repair/replace countertops, cove base, flooring, spot cleaning as needed, hang/replace mirrors, remove/install cabinetry, maintain hydraulic chairs, maintain/organize storage room, repair doors/locks as needed, mount hair dryers, perform physical upgrades to studios as requested
Technology - ability to use scheduling/work order request system, fluent with Smart Phone, Tablet Computer and organizational apps/emailing/texting
Communication - maintains clear, timely, and professional verbal and written communication on a daily basis. Actively checks and responds to messages and provides regular updates to ensure alignment and accountability. Proactive communication is expected to keep teams informed, avoid delays, and resolve issues quickly
Customer Service - conduct site introductions/tours and manage key distribution and collection as needed

High level of organization and attention to detail
Flexible schedule with ability to respond to tenant issues some evenings and weekends
Business professionalism and maturity with ability to establish and maintain a positive relationship with beauty professionals working at Sola as well as outside contractors/vendors
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly; occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching throughout the workday
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
Capable of working in tight or confined spaces as needed
Manual dexterity for using hand and power tools
Ability to sit, stand, or remain in one position for extended periods depending on task
Exposure to varying indoor/outdoor conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 per year
