One of Northern New Jersey's premier academic cardiac surgery programs on an urgent CT Surgery/CTICU locum opportunity, and we are looking for a top notch CTICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to help out!
Highlights:
- ASAP Start
- 3–4+ Month Assignment (extension likely)
- Approximately 3 Night & Days Shifts/Week - can potentially block 6 on / 8 off - there will be majority night with occasion day shift coverage (12-hour shifts with scheduling flexibility)

What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be caring for high-acuity postoperative cardiac surgery patients in a busy CTICU alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities may include:
- Post-op CTICU management
- Chest tube and pacing wire management
- Central and arterial line placement (based on competency)
- ECMO support
- Impella management
- IABP management
- Advanced hemodynamic monitoring and critical care
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CT Surgery PAs or Acute Care NPs who enjoy complex cardiac ICU patients but also value strong physician support and a collaborative practice environment.

Pay: $120.00 - $140.00 per hour
