Job description:
The Maumee Antique Mall is seeking a motivated, dependable team member to join us as a Cashier. Team members may be cross-trained for both a cashier and floorwalker roles to support daily operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying active throughout their shift, and being part of a dynamic team-oriented retail environment. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help create a welcoming atmosphere for both shoppers and dealers.
Training will be provided.
·General Requirements include (All Team Members):
o Provide friendly. professional customer service skills
o Maintain a team-oriented attitude
o Demonstrate dependability and punctuality
o Must be available to work weekends
o Have reliable transportation
o Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods
o Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
o Legible handwriting required
·Cashier Responsibilities & Requirements:
o Operate the register and process transactions accurately
o Basic computer proficiency required
o Basic math skills for cash handling and sales calculations
o Remove tags and prepare items for purchase
o Secure fragile items for safe transport
o Perform counter-height work while standing for extended periods
· Additional Duties: All team members assist with café operations, including:
o Light food preparation (hot dogs and sandwiches)
o Filling beverages
o Serving packaged snacks
o Processing café payments.
