Job Summary
The Reitz Union Hotel is seeking experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisors to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure a clean, safe, and attractive environment throughout the hotel. This role supervises the work activities of housekeepers and housemen while supporting operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to maintain cleanliness and appearance standards

Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily for cleanliness, organization, and wear

Report maintenance issues promptly to appropriate supervisors or the maintenance team

Work closely with Engineering and Front Office on outoforder rooms and room status
-
Assist with department training, scheduling, supervision, and performance monitoring

Ensure lost and found items are reported, stored, or mailed according to procedures

Support housekeeping operations by servicing guest rooms when needed, including "over" rooms
Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and speak English

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum of 3 years of housekeeping experience required

Previous supervisory experience preferred

Second language desirable

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail
Work EnvironmentPhysical Requirements

Work performed throughout the entire hotel

Frequent use of housekeeping equipment including carts, vacuums, mops, and cleaning tools

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift as required

Physical mobility and stamina required to perform essential job duties
