Core ResponsibilitiesProject Startup
- Review awarded projects including scope, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and potential risks.
- Conduct project handoff meetings with estimating and field teams.
- Develop material procurement and manpower plans.
- Submit submittals, RFIs, and required project documentation.
Field & Production Support
- Coordinate directly with superintendents and foremen to support efficient production.
- Monitor manpower levels, productivity, and installation sequencing.
- Assist in resolving site conflicts, access issues, and coordination problems.
- Perform periodic site visits to verify progress and quality.
Financial & Cost Control
- Manage project budgets and track labor, materials, and subcontract costs.
- Review job cost reports and take corrective action when needed.
- Prepare, price, and negotiate change orders aggressively and timely.
- Submit monthly pay applications and track collections.
- Protect company margin by identifying out-of-scope work.
Schedule Management
- Review and understand GC master schedules.
- Coordinate work activities to maintain progress milestones.
- Identify delays early and document impacts.
- Communicate schedule risks to leadership and field teams.
Communication & Relationships
- Serve as primary contact with general contractors and project stakeholders.
- Attend coordination and progress meetings.
- Maintain professional working relationships while protecting company interests.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams regarding expectations and changes.
Documentation & Closeout
- Manage RFIs, ASIs, change directives, and correspondence.
- Maintain organized project files.
- Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and final completion.
- Assemble warranties, closeout documents, and final billing.
Required Experience
- 2+ years managing commercial construction projects (subcontractor experience preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
- Strong understanding of labor production and job costing.
- Experience handling change orders and pay applications.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-project environments.
Preferred Experience
- Drywall, framing, ceilings, or interior systems experience.
- Public works or government project experience.
- Familiarity with Procore or similar construction software.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
