Mind Works specializes in serving children ages 3 through 17 and their caregivers through evidence-based psychotherapy, psychological assessment, developmental evaluations, parent training, and medication management.
As our Clinical Supervisor (LPC-S), you will play a vital leadership role in developing the next generation of pediatric therapists while maintaining your own clinical practice. This position combines direct patient care with clinical supervision, mentorship, documentation oversight, and professional development of LPC Associates. You will partner closely with the Chief Clinical Officer and Site Leads to ensure outstanding clinical care while fostering excellence throughout our counseling team.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesClinical Care
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families utilizing empirically supported treatment modalities.
- Maintain a reduced clinical caseload while delivering exceptional patient care.
- Collaborate with psychologists, psychiatric providers, and other clinicians to provide collaborative behavioral healthcare.
- Provide parent consultation and skills training as appropriate.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and case consultation.
Clinical Supervision
- Provide clinical supervision to LPC Associates in accordance with Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC) requirements.
- Review, provide feedback on, and approve clinical documentation completed by assigned LPC Associates, including progress notes, treatment plans, intake documentation, and other required clinical records.
- Conduct individual supervision meetings and provide ongoing clinical consultation.
- Support associates in developing sound clinical judgment, ethical decision-making, and evidence-based treatment planning.
- Assist associates in successfully progressing toward independent licensure.
- Serve as a clinical resource for complex or challenging cases.
Clinical Quality & Documentation
- Promote excellence in clinical documentation and adherence to Mind Works' documentation standards.
- Partner with Site Leads to identify documentation trends and opportunities for clinician development.
- Support documentation audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, ethical standards, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
Professional Development
- Mentor and develop early-career clinicians.
- Foster a collaborative learning environment through case consultation and clinical discussion.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Support Mind Works' mission of clinical excellence and integrated behavioral healthcare.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
- Master's degree in Counseling or a closely related mental health field.
- Current Texas Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) license in good standing.
- Eligible to supervise LPC Associates under current Texas regulations.
- Experience providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to mentoring and developing clinicians.
- Strong clinical documentation skills.
- Experience utilizing Electronic Health Records (Therapy Notes preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising LPC Associates.
- Experience within a multidisciplinary or collaborative behavioral health practice.
- Experience supporting documentation quality and clinical development initiatives.
- Play Therapy training or certification is a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
