Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly.
- Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including specials and dietary options.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Participate in banquet service as required, demonstrating flexibility in various dining settings.
Skills
- Proven experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with guests effectively.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Experience in catering or banquet service is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while managing multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with barista duties or beverage service is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and team members.
