Fort Myers Rehab & Nursing Center provides exceptional in-house sub-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing care. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. We are currently hiring for Full-Time and Per Diem (PRN) positions.
Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to improve residents’ ability to perform daily living activities.
Support patients in developing skills for independence, safety, and functional mobility.
Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support comprehensive patient care.
Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
Current Florida Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license.
Experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
