American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift weekend position at a community hospital, requiring ARRT CT certification and a minimum of 1 year of CT experience.

Acute care hospital setting with CT department serving adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, and emergency department patients
-
High-volume unit with approximately 100 patient visits per day
-
Performs a broad range of CT studies including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), sinuses, soft tissue neck, carotid, musculoskeletal trauma, and trauma head — all with and/or without contrast

Advanced imaging techniques include 3D rendering (MIP, surface shaded display, volume rendering), multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and region of interest (ROI) measurement

Preparation and/or administration of contrast media required

3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday — every weekend required

No call or float requirements

Epic EMR — experience required

Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience

ARRT (CT) certification required

NH state license required if applicable

BLS certification preferred; only AHA or American Red Cross certifications accepted

Experience with adult acute care and emergency department CT settings

Proficiency with GE equipment and PACS
-
Proficiency with isolation precautions and radiation safety protocols

Two professional references required for consideration (candidate may begin with second reference pending)

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a local pay rate

Former employees of any facility associated with SolutionHealth are not eligible for this position, regardless of length of separation or time worked

Preferred experience includes pediatric acute care and outpatient, Level II Trauma, colorectal studies (rectal contrast), enterography, IVP, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, vascular CTA, myelography, cardiac CT (calcium scoring, coronary angiography), starting peripheral IVs, venipuncture, aspirations, biopsies, and drainage procedures

Community hospital and Level II Trauma experience preferred
