Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated live out house Keeper to join a vibrant household environment. This role will take place four days per week 4-8 PM to provide comprehensive housekeeping and help in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home. The ideal candidate loves cooking, cleaning, and organizing. As a House Keeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the household’s cleanliness, organization, and overall ambiance while delivering exceptional customer service to residents and guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and floor care to ensure all areas are spotless and well-maintained.
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, folding, ironing, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency.
- Prepare nutritious meals or assist with cooking as needed, ensuring dietary preferences and standards are met.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness across all household areas by adhering to proper janitorial practices and safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing household needs promptly, managing household supplies inventory, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Conduct detailed custodial tasks including carpet cleaning, upholstery care, and routine sanitation to uphold hygiene standards.
- Support household management by coordinating cleaning schedules, overseeing vendors or contractors when necessary, and ensuring all chores are completed to high standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques including floor care and sanitation procedures.
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is highly desirable; hotel housekeeping background is a plus.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning tools and methods such as carpet cleaners, steamers, and eco-friendly cleaning products.
- Experience in laundry operations including delicate handling of fabrics and stain removal techniques.
- Knowledge of housekeeper management practices or supervisory roles in hospitality or residential settings is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and anticipate household needs.
- Prior experience in cooking or meal preparation is beneficial but not mandatory.
